What do Apple, Barclays, Infosys and McDonald’s have in common? They are all businesses that operate internationally with clients and employees spread across the world. Operating across the borders isn’t a strategy exclusive to just the large players. Even small business are waking up to the potential benefits of trading across several different countries. By studying international business management, you will be prepared for a career with multinational companies, government and organisations with a global focus. You will learn the fundamentals of business and be able to specialise in marketing, management or accounting, depending on the university’s offering.

International business management professionals are needed by virtually every company in every sector, including IT and tech (Microsoft, Apple), retail and hospitality (Marriott, Woolworth), banks (ANZ) and pharmaceutical companies (Johnson & Johnson).

Salaries vary depending on qualifications, job role, location and experience. As a guide, international business management professionals earn around an average of $110,000 a year (75.5 lakhs INR).
